I’m making The Jalapeno chowder and planning on adding shrimp. How much should I add, and should be cooked already?

    • Steve says:

Thanks so much for the question. We have added 2 cups of pre-coked salad (mini) shrimp at the last 5 minutes of the cook time. If your wanting to use larger shrimp, we add 1 pound of pre-cooked and add it in the last 10 minutes of the the cook time. We have not yet experimented with uncooked shrimp at this time. I hope this helps!

I bought the enchilada soup mix at Vintage Market Days last Fall. Making it tonight, and it calls for canned or rotisserie chicken. How much? One can, 1/2 a chicken,..??

    • Steve says:

We use one large can or 1/2 a rotisserie per package, more or less is completely up to you… Also you can drop in a can of whole kernel corn for a little extra bite.

Enjoy and be sure to check out or new membership program on line. You’ll save some money when you order online.

  10. Mikal says:

I absolutely love the Cheesy Enchilada soup mix! I added chicken, rice, and corn and it was delicious. I think I’ll try black beans in it next time.

This morning I baked the Pecan Pie Muffins with disappointing results. There is so much cinnamon that they are bitter. There seems to be too much soda as well. The texture is nice but the flavor is not. I keep trying little bites hoping I’m wrong to no avail. Has anyone else had the same experience?

    • Steve says:

Quick question, did you make them Mini or did you make them regular size? The portions are intended to make Mini muffins, and will impact the taste if made in larger sizes. Please let me know,

      All the best

Good morning. I purchased several of your items at a trade show and have enjoyed them thus far! I’m considering the $19.95 membership so I can continue to try new things (and favorites) so I know what to order in the future. Does the membership fee include shipping or what S&H charges should we expect when the membership items ship? Thank you for your time.

    • Steve says:

The Membership does not include shipping for the items you order form us. The items we give you as a Member (ie soup of the month for Plat Members) we cover the cost of the shipping.

When you order products from us, you can expect to pay a flat rate of $6.99 for all orders under $50.00 – Over $50.00 is $0.99 – Over $75.00 is FREE shipping.

Welcome to the Mad Dash Family

Good Morning. I purchased the platinum membership last month. How does the Anniversary Mix and Dash Meal work? Also, are the soups sent out every 4 months to total 3 soups? Thank you for your time.

        • Steve says:

The Anniversary Mix will be sent on your 1 year of Membership. You will receive this month the Meal Deal (1-Dip / 1-Soup / 1-Dessert) The soup of the month will be sent out each month for 3 months.

    • Steve says:

The simple answer is “kind of”… We offer specials every month to our membership group. If you go onto our web-site and in the upper right hand corner you will see the membership button. The offers vary from month to month, but each offer is usually something free for purchases. Our July offer is coming out soon….

Hope to see you there !!!

      The Mad Dash Team

  12. Jim Bonza says:

With the platinum membership, what does the soup of the month mean, and also the taste tester portion, do you get items to try, and if so how often?

    • Steve says:

For the Platinum Members we offer three months of soup of the month. Each month we will send you a Soup from our lineup.

The taste tester portion (only for Platinum Members) happens anytime we launch a new product. We will send to those Members a sample for taste testing and feedback. Once we have the feedback we will go to launch… Gluten Free Tortilla is being sent out this month…

      Stay Tuned

    Loving your products so far!!
Was wondering how close you are to having gluten free soups.
And also would like to know about the current chicken child verde. My dad is able to eat dishes with a little gluten but not too much so I was wondering if it has much gluten.

  15. emlid2005 says:

Hi, I loved your Cheesecake mix, found you at the Vintage Market in Logan, Utah earlier this year. Unfortunately, I do not remember which products are gluten free. Can you provide a list? It might be handy to mark them on the descriptions of the products for future ordering. 🙂 Thanks!!

    • Sherri says:

All cheesecakes are gluten free (no crust), dips are gluten free, bacon bits are soy. Just changed our Chicken base to be gluten free, it has corn and soy gluten. Be sure and put a note on the order to get the newer product with the new chicken base. Thanks so much.

  16. Natalie says:

I am not a souped lover, or even a soup liker BUT there is not one mad dash soup that I don’t LOVE!!!! It’s amazing!!!

  17. Rebecca Crittenden says:

Not sure if I am doing this right…… I have Key Lime and Lemon cheesecake mixes. I think you said you could use them as a dip also. How?

    • Sherri says:

Mix them the same way, just don’t put them in a crust. Put in a pretty bowl with a spoon, and serve with graham crackers, vanilla wafers and fruit. Pretzels are good too with that salty and sweet flavor.

  18. Leah says:

I purchased a chipolte dip mix at your show in Glen Rose. I was wanting to buy some more. I can’t seem to find it on the website. Do you still have this product?

  19. Fran says:

Thx so much for these delicious spices – my husband purchased several at the Vintage Market in Kerrville and we really like them. Ordering some for Christmas for friends – love the convenience of them. Merry Christmas from the Hill country.

  20. Priscilla says:

Hi there! Will you all be in or around Waxahachie, TX anytime soon? I purchased the Chili and Broccoli cheese Soup Mix at the Christmas Market this past weekend and both are delish! We enjoyed it so much!
    Thanks, Priscilla

    • Sherri says:

Thanks for liking our products! We will be at Vintage Market Days in Waxahachie on March 16, 17, 18, 2018. Come out and introduce yourself!

  21. Dee says:

I purchase many many packages of chicken chili verde. I noticed one 1/2 of them were smaller packages than the others. I asked the sales lady about the size difference and she said they were the same just pack differently. At the time i did not read the weight on each package label. However last night when I went to cook a batch for church meeting the smaller packages were only 4.3 ounces and the larger ones were around 4.7 to 5.0. Cooking directions are the same no matter the size. So I ended up paying the exact same amount for the smaller packed one versus the large pack one, she was incorrect, I weighed everything. I feel these packages were misleading since the pricing was the same. There were only 3 of the 7 packs that actually weighed the amount that was printed on the label. Misleading but tasted good.

    • Sherri says:

Sorry for the confusion, We reduced the size of the package as there was too much sodium in the larger batch. We are reviewing all of our products in the next 3 months and getting them back to the nutritionist for a new nutrition panel. The price for soups will remain the same. We sent out an entire batch of 50 with the wrong wieght on the label. Thank you for catching it. Please email me your mailing address, I would love to get you some replacements and anything new you would like to try. Please put “Chicken Chile Verde: in the subject line. Email
